Senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal has said that he is disappointed with the decision of the Pakistan peoples Party (PPP).
According to details, senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal, while talking on BOL News program “Bus Bohat Hogya” said that he was saddened by Asif Ali Zardari’s speech, it would have been better if Asif Ali Zardari had not said such things about Nawaz Sharif.
The senior PML-N leader said that Nawaz Sharif faced false cases, made sacrifices and no one can ridicule us about our sacrifice being less or more.
Ahsan Iqbal also said that we had asked them to resign from the National Assembly first and then leave the Sindh Assembly, to which the PPP refused and said that they were not ready for any kind of resignation.
The senior PML-N leader said that yesterday’s decision was a blow as nine parties were agreed to resign before the long march.
Ahsan Iqbal also said that everyone’s opinion was that resignation would pave the way for new elections.
Senior PML-N leader Ahsan Iqbal further said that we are all united, our struggle will not be affected while hopefully PPP will respect the opinion of all democratic parties and will soon join our decision.
Yesterday, Former President Asif Ali Zardari asked Nawaz Sharif to repatriate, of which the daughter of former Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz replied.
Addressing a meeting of the Opposition Alliance (PDM), former President Asif Ali Zardari asked Nawaz Sharif to come to Pakistan and go to jail together.
During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz addressed him and replied that just like you are on the video link, Nawaz Sharif is also on the video link.
She expressed concern that Nawaz Sharif’s life is in danger in the custody of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB).
“My father has had two heart attacks in jail,” Maryam said.
Maryam Nawaz said that despite being the largest party, the PML-N supported the PDM, followed the decisions of the PDM PML-N members, voted for Yousuf Raza Gilani.
Earlier, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has on Tuesday completely refused the resignations of his party lawmakers from assemblies at any cost.
Addressing the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) meeting via video link, Asif Zardari asked the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan for the conclusive political battle.
He had asked Mian Nawaz Sharif to fly back to Pakistan and then the PPP party lawmakers would submit their resignations to him.
The former President also reminded, “Mass resignations will only strengthen the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government.”
“If Nawaz Sharif is serious in his battle for democracy, then he should fly back to the country,” added Zardari.
