The Pak-Sar-Zameen Party (PSP) has announced to field its candidate in the by-election on constituency NA-249.
According to details, an important meeting of the Central Executive Committee, National Council, Central Departments, District, Town and UC Committees of Pak-Sar-Zameen Party was held at Pakistan House in which important decisions regarding Karachi by-elections were taken.
It may be recalled that after the resignation of Federal Minister for Water Resources Faisal Wawda, the ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to field their own candidates for the by-election.
By-elections in NA-249 will be held on April 29. Candidates will be able to submit nomination papers from March 13 to 17.
The scrutiny of NA-249 by-election candidates will be done by March 25.
Candidates will be able to appeal against the Returning Officer’s decisions to the Applet Tribunal by March 29.
According to sources, the final list of candidates will be released on April 6.
According to the Election Commission, the withdrawing candidates will be able to withdraw their papers till April 7.
Candidates for NA-249 will be allotted symbols on April 8.
