Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has on Sunday landed in Qatar for a two-day official call.
According to the details, Sheikh Rasheed would send Prime Minister Imran Khan’s message to the Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al-Thani.
Upon his arrival, the minister was greeted by Pakistan’s ambassador in the country at the Doha International Airport.
According to sources, he would also attend the Milipol Qatar exhibition from March 15-17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
He is also expected to hold important meetings to discuss mutual matters and bilateral cooperation among the two countries, sources said.
Sources further added that the meeting would also discuss the promotion of trade and increasing Pakistani manpower in the gulf country.
Earlier, Rasheed had said that no one else has done as much as the Prime Minister in rescuing the country from crisis.
He had said after two and a half years Imran Khan’s government has got a new political life.
While giving his speech a funny twist Sheikh Rashid said, “I am a Minister, not a masseur I know how much Imran Khan has worked hard to get this country out of the crisis.”
