Sheikh Rasheed receives first coronavirus vaccine jab

Federal Minister for interior Sheikh Rasheed on Monday has received the first jab of the coronavirus vaccine. 

As per the details, he has received the Sinopharm vaccine at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Hospital.

After getting the jab, he talked to the media where he urged everyone to get their doses as coronavirus cases are alarmingly increasing in Pakistan.

Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad tests positive for coronavirus

In June 2020, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmad had tested positive for coronavirus.

According to details, Sheikh Rasheed had not shown any symptoms of Covid-19. He had isolated himself for 14 days.

Sheikh Rasheed had informed BOL News that he has not met his fellow political members these days. He also said that his P.S. has earlier tested positive for coronavirus. He had recovered from the infection a few days later. 

Coronavirus vaccine takes few weeks to become effective, Arif Alvi clarifies rumors

Earlier, President Arif Alvi has given a special message to all regarding the coronavirus vaccine.

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, he explains that the coronavirus vaccine takes time to be effective. He also urged everyone to get their vaccine jabs.

“Covid-19 vaccination is a must. It is given in two doses & takes a few weeks to become effective.”

“In most cases, it is 100% effective & in remaining, the severity of infection is greatly reduced which increases survival rate.”
