Well-known author and director Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has once again lambasted the inappropriate slogans and placards that displayed during Aurat March.
While expressing his views in BOL News Program Aisay Nahi Chalay Ga With Fiza Akbar Khan the writer said “In my view, a woman has a beauty and is her fidelity and modesty.”
He said that he is not against Aurat March but he is against the obscene and lewd slogans and placards displayed in the name of freedom.
Khalil-ur-Rehman said this vulgarity is purposely infiltrating Pakistan adding that our religion gave us enough freedom now what kind of freedom these women are demanding? he asked.
He said these women have their agendas which have nothing to do with the rights of women in fact they are traitors of Muslims Ummah and disbelievers.
Mr Qamar also reprimanded poor democracy in the country while referring to the recent senate elections where open horse-trading has been observed.
Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar also warned that if these elements will be spared now, our culture, as well as religious values, would be destroyed.
He added that social setup and norms are the main pillars of nations and if we let them damaged these pillars we will face moral bankruptcy.
In the past, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar who gained popularity after his super hit drama ‘Mere Paas Tum Ho’ had made inappropriate and controversial statements about the Aurat March in various interviews.
