Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday lashed out at former president Asif Ali Zardari and former premier Nawaz Sharif for destroying the morality of the nation.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan, while chairing a cabinet meeting today in Islamabad, said that Pakistan Muslim League (N) Supremo and Asif Ali Zardari transferred the looted money abroad and brought the country to the verge of economic disaster in their tenures.

The Prime Minister said that mega-projects are also executed by such corrupt elements to get big kickbacks in return. He said the people have to pay the price of this corruption in the form of inflation.

The Prime Minister lamented that the corrupt ruling elite then also resorted to different tactics to make their corruption acceptable.

Prime Minister Imran Khan said that $1000 billion are laundered from poor countries every year. Adding that Asif Zardari, with his wealth accumulated through corruption, buys people as everyone has witnessed what happened in elections of the upper house of the parliament.

Imran Khan emphasized the need for using electronic voting machines in the elections to make the whole process transparent.

He said he will regularly take updates on the matter and will do best in his capacity to assist the Election Commission of Pakistan to conduct free and fair elections.

The Prime Minister regretted that every year one thousand billion dollars are laundered out of the poor countries to the rich countries.

Moreover, Prime Minister Imran Khan also reiterated to bring in the latest technology to ensure transparency in the elections.
