Five suspects have been arrested in wake of the anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge’s murder case on Monday (today).

As per the details, Swabi DPO confirmed that raids were conducted in Khyber and Peshawar.

DPO reported that Aftab Afridi’s son Majid Afridi will identify the suspects.

On Sunday, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) judge, Aftab Afridi along with his wife and children were killed after unknown men opened fire on his vehicle in Swabi here on Sunday.

According to the details, the judge’s vehicle was attacked by target killers near Ambar interchange in Swabi.

“Two security guards in the judge’s convoy also sustained wounds in the attack,” police said.

However, the dead bodies and other wounded were taken to a nearby hospital for medical aid and legal formalities.

The security forces and police cordoned off the area and started began investigating from the scene for criminological inquiry.
