Child Protection Courts With Video Link Facility Set Up In KP
Child Protection Courts with video link facility inaugurated in four divisions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to details, Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Rashid Khan inaugurated four more juvenile courts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa today.
With the launch of four new Child Protection Courts in Swat, Kohat, Bannu and DI Khan, the number of Child Courts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has increased to eight.
The first child protection court in the province was set up in Peshawar in 2019, followed by child courts in Mardan, Abbottabad and the newly merged districts of Mohmand, inaugurated by the then Chief Justice Peshawar High Court (late).
Speaking on the occasion, Registrar Peshawar High Court Khawaja Wajihuddin said that the new child courts have been started by the Peshawar High Court and all these child courts also have a video link facility.
He said that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has the highest number of 8 child courts in the country.
