Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto has said that the countdown of the government has begun, all the promises made by the government are false.
Addressing a press conference in Khairpur, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “We have opposed the PTI-IMF’s deal on the economy from day one as that deal was not in the interest of the people of Pakistan.
He said that the people of Pakistan would suffer as a result of this deal and if there is a relief then the relief is only for the rich and as a result of the PTI-IMF deal Pakistan has lost its economic sovereignty.
Bilawal said that now that the State Bank Ordinance has been passed, it is going to be the biggest attack on our economic sovereignty and the State Bank of Pakistan will not be accountable to the parliament and the court.
“If the SBP of Pakistan is not accountable to the people, then our SBP policies will be in the interest of the IMF rather than the people of Pakistan and we will not tolerate such an attack on Pakistan’s economic sovereignty,” he said.
“پی ٹی آئی ایم ایف ڈیل کی وجہ سے پاکستان نے اپنی معاشی خودمختاری کھو دی ہے، اس آرڈینینس کے بعد اسٹیٹ بینک اب پارلیمان اور عدلیہ کو جوابدہ ہونے کی بجائے آئی ایم ایف کو جوابدہ ہوگا۔”

“Pakistan’s economic growth is not only stagnant but also negative and the economic growth rate is even lower than that of war-torn countries like Afghanistan.
“We are ahead in inflation and it is very surprising that Pakistan Such a talented country cannot compete with Afghanistan economically,” Bilawal added.
He said that every Pakistani is indebted to more than Rs 2 lakh and it is only because of Imran Khan.
The government wants to restore relations with India while India has tried to spoil relations with every one of our neighbours, he added.
