Daska by-poll: Police arrest nine armed men outside polling station

Nine armed men have reportedly been arrested near the polling station during the by-election in NA-75 Daska.

As per the details, the Satra police have taken the men into custody over the violation of section 144 in the Aguchak area of Daska.

Police said that Kalashnikovs, two pistols, a rifle have been confiscated from the arrested men whereas two vehicles have also been seized.

The Election Commission of Pakistan has confirmed the arrests for showing arms in Satra.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz members clashed outside the polling stations. They were seen chanting slogans.

Police personnel have reached the scene and are dispersing the members.
