Islamabad Traffic Police Introduces Smart Chip Driving License

The good news for the citizens of the federal capital Islamabad, a smart chip driving license equipped with modern technology has been introduced.

According to the details, Islamabad Traffic Police has introduced a driving license with a smart chip equipped with modern technology in the old fee.

IG Islamabad has inaugurated a smart chip driving license. According to the spokesperson of Islamabad Police, new features have been introduced in the new driving license.

IG Islamabad said in the inauguration ceremony that other features including security have been introduced in the smart driving license.

IG Islamabad said in this regard that there will be no scope for fraud due to a smart driving license.

He said that soon smart license would also be linked with excise and NADRA. He said that better and better measures are being taken for the convenience of the citizens.

The spokesperson of Islamabad Police said that in case of emergency in the new license, all the data will be entered through the chip.

He clarified that the new smart driving license will be available on the old fee.
