The Pakistan Air Force’s two-week multinational military exercise ‘Aces Mate 1-2021’ have concluded with the participation of Pakistan as well as the US and Saudi air forces.
Addressing the closing ceremony at the Mushaf base of Pakistan Air Force, the special guest Air Commodore Ali Naeem Zahoor while addressing the participants of the exercises said that Pakistan Air Force should share its experiences with Saudi Arabia and US Air Force in counter-terrorism experiments. “At the same time, the military exercise Aces Mate has given us the opportunity to benefit from each other’s experiences,” he said.
“With the successful and meaningful conduct of these exercises, we have reaffirmed our commitment to stand side by side as friends and allies despite all difficulties,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki thanked the Pakistan Air Force for conducting successful military exercises despite the epidemic of COVID-19.
He said that such exercises enhance the professionalism and camaraderie of the participants.
US Air Attache Col. Wallen David also congratulated the Pakistan Air Force on the successful completion of the exercises.
The Pakistan Air Force, US Air Force and Saudi Air Force enthusiastically participated in the Aces Mate 1-2021 exercises, while the Air Force of Egypt, Jordan and Bahrain were invited to participate in these exercises as observers.
The closing ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan Nawaf Saeed Al-Maliki as the Guest of Honor while the other distinguished guests included Air Vice Marshal (Pilot) / Staff Awad Abdullah Al Zahrani Defense Attache Saudi Arabia, Col. Wallen David Air Attache USA and Bahrain, Egypt and Jordan observers were also present.
