Passing out parade of 143rd long course and other courses held today at Pakistan Military Academy Kakul.
According to Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza attended the passing out parade as the chief guest.
Cadets from Sri Lanka, Iraq, Maldives, and Nepal were also among the cadets who passed out.
General Nadeem Raza attended the event and distributed awards to the cadets on prominent performances.
A Sword of honor was awarded to academy senior under Officer Abdul Samad Khan Khattak, ISPR mentioned in the press release.
In addition to these, ISPR further mentioned that company senior under Officer Waqar Khursheed achieved the president’s gold medal.
Commandant Canes were awarded to Company Junior Under Officer Ammar Haider from 62nd Integrated Course, Course Under Officer Ammar Ahmed from 2nd Basic Military Training Course, and Course Under Officer Hajira Khan from 17th Lady Cadets Course.
On the occasion, CJCSC congratulated the passing out cadets for successful completion of training and commission into the Pakistan Army. CJCSC said that Pakistan is committed to peace and has contributed towards regional peace and stability. Today, the entire nation stands united against terrorism and extremism.
According to ISPR, chairman JCSC also said that the world must recognize Pakistan’s consistent peace overtures and take notice of the human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
