Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday will be accepting phone calls from the public.

According to the details, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s schedule of phone calls has been released. Imran Khan will be addressing to the public for 77 minutes.

Anyone wishing to ask the prime minister a question may put in a call at 051-9224900.

Telephonic Sessions

Imran Khan’s address will be divided into three sessions.

  • The first telephonic session will start at 11:30 am and it will last till 11:58 am.
  • The second telephonic session will be from 12:03 pm till 12:29 pm.
  • Whereas the third session starts from 12:32 pm to 12:55 pm.

The government has encouraged people to put in their calls and speak to the prime minister directly about the issues that they wish for the government to address.

In recent months, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s interaction with people via video messages on social media or televised addresses have largely focused on the coronavirus pandemic, urging people to realise the importance of exercising caution and wearing masks so Pakistan can successfully reduce the spread of the virus.

Coronavirus Situation in Pakistan

It is worth mentioning here that, during the period of last 24 hours, 81 deaths and 5,020 new cases have been reported in Pakistan due to the novel coronavirus.

According to the National Command and Operations Center, the total number of deaths from coronavirus in Pakistan has reached 14,778 whereas the total number of affected people has reached 687,908.

The number of active cases across the country now stands at 60,072, whereas 613,058 people have recovered from Corona.
