Ramadan 2021 moon sighted across Pakistan as the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirms the news on April 13.
The first day of Ramadan 2021 will fall on April 14 (Wednesday) and the Muslims will observe the first Taraweeh prayers tonight.
However, several politicians, social media users and other Muslims felicitate the Muslim brethren on this auspicious occasion.
Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Senator Faisal Javed, Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and other extend greetings of this holy month.

It is pertinent to mention here that the moon for the month of Ramadan had been sighted in Saudi Arabia, the Supreme Court had announced.
In a statement issued by the Saudi Supreme Court, Tuesday (April 13) has marked the first day of Ramadan.
This will be the second year when the Holy month will be observed under the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
