Special Representative to the Prime Minister on Religious Harmony Maulana Tahir Ashrafi this year Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on the same day across the country.
According to the details, while talking to media in Lahore on Sunday (today), Maulana Tahir Ashrafi said that people should wear masks to curb the transmission of the deadly coronavirus.
The Special Representative urged the masses to strictly adhere to the Coronavirus related SOPs during the upcoming Holy Month of Ramadan.
“Mosques and seminaries are now completely safe in the country,’ said Tahir Ashrafi; adding that, ‘false propaganda is being spread about the cancellation of registration of mosques and seminaries in the country.’
He also said that an attempt was made to misrepresent Imran Khan’s recent statement, ‘he said ‘Propaganda is being spread against him, ‘he added.
On the other hand, according to the media reports, the government announced a Special Ramazan Relief Package of worth 7.80 billion rupees through 4000 outlets of the Utility Stores Corporation to facilitate the masses.
The package would be included sugar, wheat flour, pulses, dry dates, rice, tea, Oil, Ghee, Baisen, beverages and tetra pack milk.
The relief package has been announced on the special directives of Prime Minister Imran Khan to provide basic food items and commodities at subsidized rates across the country through Utility Stores.
