BOL Network wishes the entire Muslim ummah a very happy, safe and prosperous Eid-ul-Fitr 2021.
Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated with full religious fervour on Thursday 13 May in Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, UAE and Kuwait, other Arab countries and the United Kingdom, the United States and Australia, followed by many European countries, including most Arab countries.
The joy of Eid in the Islamic world has waned due to the ongoing pandemic. On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, which lasts for three days, Muslim citizens travel long distances to visit their families. A variety of food is prepared in the houses and the visitors keep coming and going in the houses throughout the day. But this time also like the previous year, millions of Muslims will not be able to enjoy the joys of Eid as they are confined to their homes.
Some Muslim countries have eased lockdown restrictions on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr. However, Muslim countries have appealed to the public not to leave their homes in view of the threat of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Governments have also urged the public to offer Eid prayers in their homes and to refrain from socializing, limit travel and mobility.
