Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) here on Wednesday (today).
The Prime Minister, during his visit to the ISI headquarters, was accompanied by the Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry and Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed.

A special meeting of the recently established “National Intelligence Coordination Committee” was chaired by Prime Minister Imran Khan at the ISI headquarters.
Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid, Director General Inter-Services Intelligence welcomed the Prime Minister and Federal Ministers.
Meeting was attended by Mr Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Interior Minister, Mr Fawad Chaudhary, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Heads of Services’ Intelligence Agencies, Intelligence Bureau and Federal Investigation Agency.

National Intelligence Coordination Committee, “a platform for Intelligence Coordination/ Cooperation for unified and wholesome National Intelligence Assessment was notified by Government on 22 January 2021”.
Along with the delegation arrived by the premier, the Heads of Services’ Intelligence Agencies, Intelligence Bureau and Federal Investigation Agency also attended the meeting.
A comprehensive briefing followed by a discussion on enhanced intelligence cooperation, was held.
The prime minister emphasized that no effort would be spared for the security, integrity, and sovereignty of Pakistan. He also appreciated the sacrifices and contributions of the Inter-Services Intelligence being a superior state intelligence agency.
Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan along with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Jawed Bajwa also paid a visit to the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) in Islamabad.
They were received by ISI Director General Lieutenant General Faiz Hamid, according to the PM Office.
