The crackdown has initiated alongside the haulers who were implicated in overcharging on the eve of Eidul Adha remains across Sindh province.
According to Sindh Transport Minister, Syed Awais Shah, numerous transporters in Karachi, Hyderabad, Sukkur, Thatta and others were fined for overpricing the travelers.
More than Rs200,000 overly charging from the passengers were resumed in the province-wide crackdown, he added.
A fine of Rs180,000 was enforced on the various vehicles found parading the government orders.
Several passengers were cautioned over not having COVID-19 vaccination certificates along with them while traveling, while 45 of the passengers were administered the COVID-19 vaccine in Larkana.
Shah said nobody will be allowed to fleece people on the occasion of Eid ul Adha and instructed the transport department to monitor transport fares.
