PM Imran Expresses Deep Sorrow Over Over Demise Of Mumtaz Bhutto

Prime Minister Imran Khan has expressed his sorrow over the demise of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and senior politician Mumtaz Bhutto.

“Saddened to hear of the passing of Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto. My condolences and prayers go to his family,” the Prime Minister said.

Note that, Former Sindh Governor Mumtaz Ali Bhutto passed away in Karachi.

Sardar Mumtaz Ali Bhutto, a prominent political figure of Sindh, passed away. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Karachi due to ill health.

According to the family, Mumtaz Ali Bhutto was 88 years old and had been ill for a long time.

Mumtaz Bhutto was a cousin of former Prime Minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and uncle of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto. He also held the posts of former Governor of Sindh and Chief Minister of Sindh.

Mumtaz Bhutto was associated with the PPP from 1967 to 1988, later Mumtaz Bhutto formed his own political party under the name of Sindh National Front and then in 2017 Mumtaz Bhutto merged his political party with the PTI.

The Governor of Sindh has also expressed regret over the demise of Mumtaz Ali Bhutto. Imran Ismail said that Mumtaz Ali Bhutto was a kind, compassionate and sociable person. May Allah forgive the deceased and grant patience to his family.
