3772 new COVID infections in Pakistan, positivity rate stands at 7%
In the last 24 hours, 3772 new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the country and 80 patients have succumbed to the virus.
The National Command and Operations Center (NCOC) has released the latest statistics on the pandemic situation, saying that 80 more people died due to coronavirus in 24 hours, bringing the death toll from the pandemic in the country to 25,000. 3 while 3770 new cases were reported.
The NCOC added that 53,881 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
The National Command and Operations Center added that the positivity rate was 7% in 24 hours. Yesterday, 3842 new cases of coronavirus were reported while 75 patients died.
Meanwhile, another 2 million doses of the Chinese vaccine arrived in Pakistan from China on Saturday.
According to a health ministry official, the government purchased the vaccine and arrived in Islamabad from China on Saturday.
915,856 vaccines were administered across Pakistan on 21 Aug and in total 46,456,077 vaccines administered till now.
