PM Imran Live Calls Today

Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan is talking with the general public and directly responding to their questions on live calls here on Sunday.

Before taking live calls on the TV programme “Aapka Wazir-e-Azam Aap Ke Saath“, PM Imran requested the common people to strictly observe COVID SOPs, especially wearing face masks, to prevent the spread of the fourth wave of Coronavirus.

He said that the 4th wave contains the Indian variant of COVID-19 pandemic, and is very lethal as it spreads at a faster pace.

The people can participate in the programme on landline no: 051-9224900.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has been regularly interacting with the public through this programme in which people raise their issues and give suggestions.

He also spoke about how imposing a complete lockdown in the country is not the solution.

“Therefore, smart lockdown is the most viable solution,” he said. “We cannot destroy our economy by imposing a full lockdown.”

He also stressed people to vaccinate themselves in order to curb the virus.

Answering a question regarding job allowances, the premier said that the centre is very small, therefore, he would instruct all the provinces to allot job quotas to deserving people.

He said that leaders who are scared of free media are the ones who are mostly corrupt.

“If I had apartments in London [or had been involved in corrupt activities], I would have been scared of a free media too,” he said.

“I only oppose the media when fake news is disseminated, otherwise free media is a blessing for any country.”
