Prime Minister Imran Khan said that Karachi’s Shaukat Khanum Hospital construction is going according to schedule.
While sharing the details and photos of the construction sites the Prime Minister wrote on Twitter, ” The Karachi SKMT construction is going according to schedule and is all set to open inshaAllah by Dec next year. This will be twice as big as the Lahore SKMT and will be equipped with state of the art equipment.”

Earlier in January this year, Prime Minister Imran Khan has hailed the success of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Karachi.
Taking to Twitter, he informed the citizens that work on Shaukat Khanum hospital’s basement is proceeding at a good pace after a slowdown during the coronavirus crisis.
He also assured that the project will be the biggest SKMT hospital and the most modern in Pakistan.

Wife Of Sharjah Ruler Announces $1.2 Mn Grant
Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah has announced 1.2 million grant for the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre (SKMCH&RC) in Peshawar.
Wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi announced a grant of Dhs 4.4 million ($ 1,197,950) to facilitate the medical services in the hospital.
