Prime Minister Imran Khan will address the Punjab Education Convention 2021 in Lahore today.
According to details, Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Lahore today, where he will attend the Punjab Education Convention 2021 in Lahore. The convention is being organized by the School Education Department, Punjab.
The convention will highlight the steps taken by the government for education and teaching in the last three years, including construction and repair of schools, education house programs and teacher training measures. Prime Minister Imran Khan will also address the Punjab Education Convention.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister will be giving a briefing on the performance of the School Education Department. Education Minister Dr Murad Ross will present the three-year performance report of the department.
The report said that in three years, 7000 primary schools of Punjab were upgraded to elementary schools, records of more than 48,000 government schools and about 400,000 teachers were compiled while transfer, retirement, promotion, pension and leave of teachers were recorded. The report said that afternoon classes were provided to 22,000 students in 557 schools in 22 districts of the province. Under the auspices of Insaf Academy, students were given the facility of online lectures after school and to meet the nutritional deficiencies of students. For this, lunch was provided to 23,000 students in 100 primary schools.
The report said that since February 21, one million students deprived of education have been enrolled in schools, a vocational school for eunuchs has been set up in Multan, and free vocational schools for eunuchs have been set up in nine other district headquarters besides Multan.
According to the report, fifth and eighth-grade board examinations have been abolished and a system of performance testing has been set up at the school level. Introduce Urdu as a medium of instruction in 40 million schools, build 2,000 new classrooms and 1,000 new science and IT labs in government schools across the province.
