TikTokers were banned from entering parks of Punjab
The Punjab government has decided to ban TikTokers and Youtubers from entering the parks across the province.
According to sources, under the ban, YouTubers and TikTokers will not be able to enter the parks and make any kind of video and content, while only the mainstream media will be allowed to make videos.
Sources said that permission to make videos for social media would be conditional on the submission of the script in advance, while security personnel stationed at the parks would monitor TikTokers and YouTubers.
According to sources, the Punjab government has decided to ban entry without family in all major parks while students in school and college uniforms will not be allowed to enter the parks.
However, final approval for the ban will be given by Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar.
It may be recalled that a tragic incident took place in Greater Iqbal Park of Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore on August 14 when a female TikToker was harassed and molested by 400 men.
