Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Tuesday once again berated the incumbent government over growing inflation in the country and laid the blame on the “incompetent cabinet” of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan was unable to attend the National Security Committee meeting as he was busy maintaining the price of sugar,” Abbasi took a jibe at the premier for missing the meeting and inflation.
In the press conference, the former prime minister said that government should stop making commissions and let the country run.
The PML-N leader also asked NAB Chairman Javed Iqbal to file a reference against the incumbent government if he was neutral.
According to Abbasi loss of Rs 25 billion was incurred by the national exchequer on LNG due to NAB, adding that the anti-corruption watchdog chief will have to answer allegations before a court one day.
