Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday announced that legal action against dissident MNAs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has been initiated.
He was addressing the media alongside Planning Minister Asad Umar and Energy Minister Hammad Azhar in Islamabad.
Fawad said that the government rejects ‘deals’ to appease disgruntled party members.

He claimed that a female MNA was given Rs70 million and asked, “Should we give her Rs100 million to appease her? What will then be the difference between PTI and PPP and PML-N?”
The information minister said the government will deliberate on the suggestion of the governor rule’s imposition in Sindh.

Meanwhile, Asad Umar said that the PTI will come out of the crisis through public support and will hold the ‘biggest public gathering’ on March 27 in Islamabad.
