ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday expressed fury as the much-anticipated National Assembly session to debate the Opposition’s no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan has been adjourned to meet again on March 28, 2022 (Monday) at 04:00 pm.

Bilawal took to Twitter and said that Speaker provided another weak excuse to avoid tabling the no-confidence motion in National Assembly today.

“Imran can’t run forever. PM has no sportsman spirit and cannot face defeat with grace. The once-great Kaptaan will go down like a rat on a sinking ship,” the PPP Chairman added.

Earlier today, National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar adjourned the session till Monday evening as the opposition’s demand for a no-confidence motion is included in the agenda.

The brief session today included prayers for the deceased member of the house – former MNA from Hangu Khayal Zaman Khan. Following the prayers, the speaker said that the session is adjourned till Monday evening following the tradition of adjourning the session in respect of the deceased member.

Speaker Asad Qaisar, however, maintained that the no-confidence motion is included in the agenda and will be taken up in the following coming sessions.
