
CM Hamza Shahbaz Sharif chaired meeting for improving education, health facilities
Former finance minister and Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) leader Ishaq Dar on Saturday said that he had a fruitful final round of discussion with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)’s former secretary-general Jahangir Khan Tareen.
Dar took to Twitter and informed that it was mutually concluded that PTI disgruntled JKT Group will support joint Opposition’s candidate, Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, for the slot of Chief Minister, Punjab.
He also appreciated Tareen and the group for their support.
Had fruitful final round of discussion with Mr Jehangir Khan Tareen.

Earlier on Friday, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar accepted the resignation of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmad Khan Buzdar.

Punjab Governor Sarwar has summoned the Punjab Assembly session in Lahore today at 1100 in the morning to elect a new Chief Minister. A notification has been issued in this regard.
Buzdar resigned on March 28 after the Punjab Assembly’s joint Opposition tabled a no-confidence motion against him.

The opposition filed a no-confidence resolution against Buzdar, claiming that they were dissatisfied with his performance.
Later, Prime Minister Imran Khan nominated Speaker of Punjab Assembly Chaudhry Pervaiz for the post.
