ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday said they had to stop the conspiracy of anarchy and polarisation in society.
While talking to the law enforcers, during his visit to the D-Chowk in Islamabad, he said, “The country will move forward, if we walked on the path of the law and constitution. We have to make Pakistan peaceful and prosperous.” He was accompanied by Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif.
On this occasion, Shehbaz Sharif also shook hands with security forces personnel and paid them tribute for performing their duties and protecting lives and properties of the masses.
He appreciated their performance in “the difficult situation”.

On Tuesday night, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had called off the Azadi March after giving a six-day ultimatum for fresh general elections.
As the announcement came in, the authorities had started clearing the motorway of the containers and other obstacles for smooth flow of traffic.
The authorities had maintained that the motorway would become fully operational for the traffic within the next two hours.
Meanwhile in Karachi, the PTI protestors gathered at Numaish Chowk had left the venue peacefully after the announcement by the PTI chief.
Notably, a six-day deadline has been given by the PTI supremo to the government for the announcement of fresh elections in the country.
Imran Khan had underscored that if the government failed in announcing the polls he would return to the capital for protest.
