ISLAMABAD: At least 2,300 worshipers have landed in Medinah as Hajj pilgrims have started arriving in Saudia Arabia, a spokesperson to the ministry of religious affairs told BOL News on Tuesday.
“Today, 1,600 Pakistani pilgrims will land in Medinah. Three flights from Islamabad and one each from Multan and Quetta will depart,” the spokesperson said.

The main control office is established in Mecca and Medinah to assist the pilgrims. A helpline, monitoring desk, lost and found department, complaint cell, and Haram guide departments have been established.
The staff of the ministry, banks, airlines, and other stakeholders are working according to the timeline to make sure that the Hajj operation gets successful, says the secretary of religious affairs.
The staff of the ministry of religious affairs will be at Jeddah and Medinah airports to assist the pilgrims. The crew will hold a Pakistani flag as a sign for the worshippers. The ministry has already sent a huge consignment of medicines to Saudia Arabia, the spokesperson of the ministry told BOL.
