KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Saturday said that the coalition government is afraid of the next general elections and hinted that PTI will call a protest very soon.

Fawad Chaudhry said that in case of no announcement by the government about the polls, PTI will soon opt for a sit-in and urged the locals of Sindh to come out for the local body elections and exercise their right to vote.

While touching on the recent by-poll in Karachi, the PTI leader claimed that more than 90 percent of the citizens did not turn up to cast their votes.

Chaudhry also said that the only solution to the current political crisis in the country is to conduct the next general elections immediately.

He also claimed that the coalition government has been pushing the country towards default adding that the fuel prices have been skyrocketing, the currency is depreciating while businesses are being taxed after which the stock market crashed.

The former minister said that the government will be gone in a month and a half saying that Candy Crush government will bankrupt the country.

Chaudhry also underscored that right now there is only one leader in the country that is Imran Khan and maintained that no country can ever progress without armed forces.
