KARACHI: Two people have reportedly died in the last 24 hours due to Covid-19 in the country. The coronavirus positive ratio has risen up to 2.81 percent, according to the BOL News.

The country is again under the flame of COVID-19. In the last 24 hours, 14,437 coronavirus tests were conducted, out of which 406 cases came positive, and 94 patients are in critical condition. The positive number of cases are increasing rapidly and affecting the population. On the other hand, the federal government has directed the provincial governments and health departments to expand the covid testing.

Health Minister of Sindh Azra Peechoho told that Karachi has the most number of covid-19 cases in the country. “It is possibly sixth wave of coronavirus, people who are 60 and above or are affected by other diseases are obliged to be vaccinated with the booster dose of the virus,” she added.

The department of health has asked for details related to the growing number of cases of the deadly virus from every District Health Office. The Health Department will start a booster dose program in August in the educational institutions.
