ISLAMABAD: A special ceremony was held at Joint Staff Headquarters to bid farewell to General Nadeem Raza, the outgoing Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), retiring on 26 November 2022 after 41 years of illustrious military service.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), former chairmen, senior officers of the three forces participated in the farewell ceremony of outgoing CJCSC General Nadeem Raza.
On this occasion, Outgoing CJCSC General Nadeem Raza said “I am grateful to Allah Almighty for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my duties” and added that he performed his duties with honesty, justice and dignity to the best of his abilities.
General Nadeem Raza lauded the sacrifices of the armed forces in defence of the motherland and added that defence of the country is impregnable. He said Pakistan army brave soldiers will not hesitate to make it stronger in future.
A smartly turned out contingent of the three forces presented guard of honor to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee. General Nadeem Raza reviewed the guard of honor and march past.
