COAS Gen Asim Munir meets with Saudi Ambassador

• Ambassador of Saudi Arabia called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters(GHQ).
• According to the ISPR, Ambassador of KSA to Pakistan, Nawaf Saeed A. Al Milki met with Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir.
• During the meeting matters related to bilateral interests were discussed.

RAWALPINDI: Ambassador of Saudi Arabia called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at the General Headquarters(GHQ).

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Ambassador of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to Pakistan, Nawaf Saeed A. Al Milki met with Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir in Rawalpindi.

During the meeting matters related to bilateral interests were discussed.

Separately, Ambassador of United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Salem Alzaabi called on newly-appointed Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir at GHQ in Rawalpindi.

The media wing of the armed forces, ISPR said during the meeting both dignitaries discussed matters of bilateral interest.

On the other hand, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

The prime minister congratulated General Sahir Shamshad Mirza on assuming the responsibilities of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee.

The prime minister appreciated the professional capability and performance of General Sahir Shamshad Mirza in the Pakistan Army.

Calling the Pakistan Army a precious national asset, the prime minister said the leadership of the two most competent officers would further strengthen the country’s defence.

During the meeting, they discussed professional matters pertaining to Pakistan’s armed forces.
