Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan has offered talks if the government announces the date for the general elections.
Imran said, “We can give the government a chance that it should come and talk with us. Announce the date for elections otherwise we will dissolve the provincial assemblies.”
He maintained that the elections would be held in part of 66 percent of the country if Punjab Assembly were dissolved.
He added, “We had tried hard but the government is not ready to listen the name of elections.”
The former premier said that the PML-Q is totally with the PTI and Pervaiz Elahi is ready to dissolve the assembly.
He further said that Pervaiz Elahi assured him of dissolving the assembly when he (Imran) asked him to do so.
Imran maintained that the PDM feared to lose the elections, adding there could no stability in the country without the elections.
He said that economy is linked with the political stability, adding that the government has no roadmap except harassing the PTI workers and supporters.
The PTI chairman said that they wanted to get him disqualified and put him in jail.
