LAHORE: Pointing towards the announcement of dissolution of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assemblies, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Thursday said Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi would act as per his wish as the latter fully trusted the former.

Talking to YouTubers at his residence in Zaman Park area of Lahore, Imran Khan said two families weakened the institutions. He said the institutions had adopted the habit of martial law.

He said former finance minister Shaukat Tarin and he told former chief of army staff general (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa about situation of the economy, however they had already made the plan. He said when his government came into power it faced every kind of mafias, however it could not do anything against them.

The former prime minister said the biggest assets of the country were the overseas Pakistanis. He said a society remained strengthened as long as it has strong justice system.

He said the ones named by mother of Bol News Anchorperson Arshad Sharif were the same that were named by him and PTI leaders Azam Swati and Shehbaz Gill. The FIR should be as per wish of Arshad Sharif’s mother.

Imran Khan said the new army chief should not toe the policies of the former army chief.
