LAHORE: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has rescheduled divisional-level advisory meetings with members of the Punjab Assembly to dissolve assembly.
According to the release schedule, it has been decided to start the consultation meetings of former prime minister Imran Khan at the divisional level from Monday instead of Sunday.
All the divisional assembly members of Punjab will be informed about the schedule and the chief whip of PTI in the Punjab Assembly will be given the schedule of divisional meetings today.
Imran Khan will consult the Punjab Assembly members of each division on the dissolution of the assembly.
On the other hand, former prime minister Imran Khan is present at his residence in Zaman Park. The individual meetings with Imran Khan will continue today while strict security arrangements have been made at his residence.
It should be noted that two days ago, a meeting of the PTI Punjab parliamentary party was held in Lahore under the supervision of Imran Khan, in which the members expressed their concerns about the dissolution of the assembly.
Imran Khan had decided after the meeting that he would hold meetings with the members on the dissolution of assemblies at the division level.
Earlier, Chairman Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister Imran Khan said the governments of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will dissolve their assemblies this month.
Former prime minister Imran Khan, while addressing the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Parliamentary Party meeting, said that Chief Minister Punjab Pervaiz Elahi has given him the authority to dissolve the assembly. He directed the MNAs and MPs to prepare now.
