Azam Khan takes oath as Caretaker Chief Minister of KP

PESHAWAR: Former bureaucrat Azam Khan took oath as Caretaker Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Haji Ghulam Ali administered oath to Azam Khan as caretaker CM.

Earlier, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Governor Haji Ghulam Ali today appointed  Azam Khan as the caretaker chief minister, days after the provincial assembly was dissolved.

The governor issued the notification after the opposition and government agreed on the name of Azam Khan for the caretaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister (CM) slot.

The consensus was reached in a meeting between KP CM Mahmood Khan and the Opposition Leader Akram Khan Durrani at the Speaker’s House yesterday.
