ISLAMABAD: District and sessions court decided to indict Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan in Toshakhana case.

Additional Sessions Judge Zafar Iqbal heard the case, and Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s medical certificate was presented before the court.

During the hearing, the judge inquired where is the power of attorney from Imran Khan. The lawyer of the election commission said that the power of attorney cannot come until Imran Khan comes himself.

Imran Khan’s lawyer said that the medical certificate of former prime minister has been submitted in the last hearing, the court directed that the lawyer’s letter should also be submitted today.

The lawyer of the Election Commission said that they cannot give the power of attorney until the shorty bonds come. On the order of the court, Imran Khan’s lawyers also gave a shorty of Rs 20,000.

Judge Zafar Iqbal said that Imran Khan will be charged on February 7.

The Election Commission has sent a complaint to the Sessions Court against Imran Khan, and the Election Commission has also requested criminal action against Imran Khan.
