Imran Khan directs workers to participate in protest over appointment of Mohsin Naqvi

LAHORE: Former prime minister and Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf(PTI) Imran Khan has directed all workers and leaders to participate in the protest over the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will hold a protest against Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi today.

A protest will be held outside the Election Commission Punjab office this afternoon in which Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan has directed all the workers and leaders to participate.

The former Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced a nationwide protest on the appointment of Mohsin Naqvi as the Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab by the Election Commission of Pakistan(ECP).

In this connection, PTI leader Mussarat Jamshed Cheema has said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will protest in front of the Election Commission Punjab office today.

The PTI leader said that PTI will not let NAB-afflicted and regime change leader Mohsin Naqvi hold the future of 120 million Pakistanis hostage.

Musaarat Cheema further said that this country belongs to the people and not to the powerful people sitting in the drawing room.

On the other hand, PTI Chairman Imran Khan has called a meeting of important party leaders on the issue of resignations of National Assembly members of PTI, in which the senior leadership of the party will participate.

Sources said that in the meeting, the situation arising from the resignations of members of the National Assembly of PTI will be considered and there will be consultation about the future political strategy.
