LAHORE: Former prime minister Imran Khan and the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan is to address a press conference today.

Spokesperson Punjab government Musarrat Cheema said that the PTI chief will hold a very crucial press conference today at 5:15 pm.

She said that Imran Khan will inform the nation about the important issues, the future plans and the steps taken against the country by the imported government, which are causing continuous damage to Pakistan.

On the other hand, PTI Chairman lashed out at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for the appointment of Syed Mohsin Naqvi as Caretaker Chief Minister of Punjab.

In a series of tweets, the former minister said the PML-N has a history of selecting their own umpires but the ECP has selected a sworn enemy of the PTI as caretaker chief minister.

He said Naqvi also made a voluntary return deal with National Accountability Bureau (NAB) which makes him ineligible to hold the post.

The PTI Parliamentary Committee rejected the nomination of Mohsin Naqvi as the Caretaker chief minister of Punjab and decided to approach the courts.
