LONDON: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz is expected to leave for Pakistan on January 27, BOL News quoted sources.
The sources close to the family have revealed that the PML-N leader will be leaving for Pakistan along with some family members and a few party leaders.
However, PML-N Supremo Nawaz Sharif will not be coming to Pakistan any time soon. It is also said that Maryam Nawaz is to take charge of the politics upon her return and will supervise the party matters in Pakistan.
Notably, she has recently been given the responsibilities of senior vice president and chief organizer by Nawaz Sharif.
Earlier, the PML-N leader announced that she is not coming back to Pakistan on January 22 as she has to attend two important meetings in London. The meetings will be attended by the senior leadership of the party including Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah.
It has been expected that PML-N is going to adopt some key changes in the party and the meetings have been called for the purpose.
