The coordination committee of Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) has condemned the harsh remarks of Jamaat-i-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmed Khan against the former president of Pakistan General Pervaz Musharraf during the Senate session on Monday.
The MQM-P also demanded the JI senator of apologising to the nation for his remarks and reminded it of its past association with the former president.
It recalled that the chief of the JI used to feel proud of standing with Musharraf and taking pictures with him, adding that the JI would be part of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governments during the reign of Pervaz Musharraf.
The MQM-P coordination committee further said that Naimat Ullah Khan used to mayor of Karachi under the government of the former president.
It questioned whether the JI should be ashame of being partner of Musharraf’s regime or it would apologise the nation for its past history.
The MQM-P coordination committee also urged the JI to abandon hypocracy and apologise the nation for its hypocratic attitude.
