ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has convened an “all parties” conference on February 7 to cope with the challenges faced by the country, Bol News reported.

Shehbaz has invited his nemesis and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan as well in the meeting to discuss the national issues.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb said federal minister and Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq invited PTI leaders Asad Qaiser and Parvaiz Khattak also in the “all parties conference”.

All stakeholders including Rangers and officers of the intelligence institutions will attend the committee’s meeting at the Governor House in Peshawar.

The committee will discuss the incident of terrorism that occurred at the mosque of Police Lines Peshawar on January 30, and consider steps to eradicate terrorism and upgrade the Counter-Terrorism Department and police.

Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Thursday said they ruined the country in a bid to manage PTI chief Imran Khan.

Talking to media, Fawad Chaudhry said the Sharif family had no future in Pakistani politics. He said they wanted to abridge the political distances in Pakistan. There was no solution to the ongoing crisis except elections, he maintained.

He said the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor was talking about the governor rule. The one who would call for elections after 90 days would be violator of the constitution, he said adding that the constitution should be considered to be void after 90 days without elections.

The PTI leader said the coalition government did not know the current political situation of Afghanistan. Whereas, Imran Khan knew the Afghan leadership.
