SUKKUR: A court in Sukkur dismissed the case of sedition filed against Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer and Senior Vice President Maryam Nawaz.

A district and sessions court heard the case filed against the PML-N leader and reserved the decision.

Fifth Additional Sessions Judge Mumtaz Solangi dismissed the case against PML-N’s central leader Maryam Nawaz while giving a reserved verdict.

However, no reason has been disclosed so far for the dismissal of the case. The petitioner’s counsel said that the cause of the dismissal will surface only after the detailed verdict.

Pertinently, a petition was filed against Maryam Nawaz for insulting the judiciary and the armed forces.
