ISLAMABAD: The registrar’s office Islamabad High Court (IHC) has issued a circular regarding the security and other administrative measures for March 21 during the appearance of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan.

The circular said that the entrance of lawyers and journalists in courtroom No.1 would be allowed through the special passes. It said that only 15 lawyers would be permitted to go along with Imran Khan in the courtroom.

The court had instructed the district administration to ensure the security arrangements during the hearing. The list could be provided till March 20, for issuance of special passes, it said.

The court would hear the bail case of Imran Khan at 2:30pm in courtroom No.1 on March 21.

Meanwhile, a case has been lodged against 17 Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leaders including chairman Imran Khan under terrorism act, Bol News reported on Sunday.

The case has been filed with the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in which SHO Ramna police station is the plaintiff. PTI leaders Asad Umar, Murad Saeed, Shibli Faraz, Farrukh Habib, Hassaan Niazi, Omer Ayub, Ali Ameen Gandapuri, Amjad Khan Niazi, Hammad Azhar, Khurram Nawaz, Ali Nawaz Awan, Umar Sultan, Asad Qaiser, Colonel (retd) Asim and Aamer Kiani were nominated in the case among others.

The case has been filed under terrorism provisions. The FIR mentions that Imran Khan reached the Islamabad judicial complex with a crowd at 3:30 pm and the crowd pelted stones at police. The case includes terrorism, interference in government affairs, damage to government and private property and other provisions.
