LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan is to kick off election campaign in Punjab from today.

Imran Khan is to address the nation today that will be live streamed on big screens in different cities of Punjab.

Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf will also meet leaders and workers who voluntarily presented arrests from Lahore. Imran Khan will also announce the schedule of election meetings in his address.

PTI leader Musarrat Jamshed Cheema said that the chairman PTI will start the regular election campaign today and the chairman’s address will be shown on big screens across the country.

Meanwhile, PTI leaders including Asad Umar, Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others were released from jail after being in detention for a few days.

A large number of party workers from Rajanpur, Rojhan, Jampur, Dera Ghazi Khan were present to welcome them. They raised slogans in favour of PTI chairman Imran Khan. PTI leader Aun Abbas Bappi was also present outside the district jail.

PTI leaders Fayyaz Chauhan, Zulfi Bukhari, Sadaqat Awan and several others were also released from Shahpur jail.
