ISLAMABAD: An anti-terrorism court of Islamabad has approved bails of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) leaders Asad Umar, Ali Nawaz, Murad Saeed and others in the case pertaining to vandalism at the Judicial Complex in the federal capital territory during appearance of Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, Bol News reported.
Raja Khurram, Shehzad Waseem and Zulfi Bukhari have also been bailed in the case. The judge hearing the case said, “This time you guys have charges of robbery as well.”
PTI counsel Babar Awan said they were going to file for bails in the new cases also. The judge said let’s deal with the old ones first, then they would see the new.
The court has adjourned the hearing for two weeks.
On March 18, a court had deferred the hearing of the Toshakhana case hearing against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan until March 30.
Additional District and Sessions Judge (ADSJ) Zafar Iqbal had also cancelled Imran Khan’s arrest warrants in the Toshakhana case after permitting him to return after marking his attendance outside the Islamabad Judicial Complex.
The hearing was adjourned till March 30 (Thursday) due to the chaos and violence as police clashed with PTI workers. The court had accepted Imran Khan’s appearance and allow him to leave after marking his attendance.
