Former President Asif Ali Zardari expressed his concern over the non-payment of the federal government’s declared price of cotton to its farmers.
He said that farmers are not being paid according to the declared price of 8500 rupees per maund, set by the federal government.
Zardari demanded the federal government take steps to provide farmers with the declared price of cotton.

“I specifically direct the Sindh government to take steps to give farmers their rights,” said Asif Ali Zardari.
